I just placed an order for the book Latin: An Intensive Course (Moreland & Fleischer). Sometimes I see Latin written with macrons, like latīna, but it wasn't until I started studying Latin that I noticed it. Rosetta Stone doesn't have Ancient Greek, their Latin is much shorter than their other languages, and it is definitely definitely not worth the money. Has anyone else used this, and what were your best books in any language that I have ever seen. Your Price: $24.99- Latin: An Intensive Course. It will be a while before it arrives here, but I wanted to know what you guys think of it as a text. The course will include intensive Latin and Greek practical palaeography seminars, lectures on codicology and visits to manuscript libraries. I am looking at studying Latin. Latin: An Intensive Course List Price: $39.95. YOu can find full details here: Intensive Bilingual Latin and Ancient Greek courses at Loyola. Every Summer, La Fondation Humanitas offers Intensive Latin and Ancient Greek courses at Loyola High School. However, because of work commitments I can't go to classes and so this will be self-study. How important are these diacritics and is it considered wrong to omit them? I am thinking about using Reading Latin by Jones and Sidwell (which is used at the University of Western Australia as their initial text). Is anyone here currently working from it?
